These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”) complement and form part of the course agreement signed between the teacher, Tara DORNIER, and the student. They govern the terms under which foreign language lessons are provided by the teacher and apply to all services rendered. These GTC may be amended at any time; students will be informed of any changes by email or via an announcement on the website at least 30 days before they take effect. By signing the course agreement, enrolling in a course, or paying an invoice, the student unreservedly accepts these GTC.

2. Services Provided
Tara DORNIER offers foreign language lessons (French, English). Full details are available on the website or upon request. Bespoke services are possible by requesting a quote. Lessons are primarily conducted online. Occasionally, home lessons may be arranged subject to conditions agreed upon by both parties. Home lessons may incur travel expenses.
3. Pricing and Payment Terms
Pricing: Prices are quoted in euros and appear in a rate table available on the website or upon request.
Payment: Payment is made by bank transfer (preferred method), in cash, or by any other means accepted by the teacher. Full payment is due in one instalment, no later than 30 days after the invoice date. In the event of late payment, penalties may apply. The amount of these penalties is stated on each invoice.
Packages: Packages must be paid in advance, are non-refundable, and remain valid for one year from the purchase date indicated on the invoice.
Additional Charges: Any additional fees (international transfers, currency conversions, etc.) are borne solely by the student.
4. Cancellations and Delays
Student Cancellation: If the student cancels at least 48 hours before the scheduled session, the session can be rescheduled. Cancelling fewer than 48 hours in advance will result in the session being charged.
Teacher Cancellation: Any session cancelled by the teacher will be rescheduled to a later date by mutual agreement with the student.
Student Delay: A delay of less than 15 minutes may be made up, provided the teacher’s schedule allows for it. A delay of more than 15 minutes results in the session being charged and considered as given.
Teacher Delay: Any delay on the teacher’s part will be compensated by adding time at a later date, as agreed with the student.
5. End of Lessons
Standard End: Lessons end once the final session has been completed and the corresponding invoice paid.
Early Termination by the Student: The student may end lessons at any time by notifying the teacher in writing (email) at least 15 days before the desired termination date. Any sessions already scheduled during this period remain payable.
Early Termination by the Teacher: The teacher may end lessons if the student fails to meet their obligations (non-payment, inappropriate behaviour, etc.), after issuing a written warning and allowing 7 days to resolve the issue.
Force Majeure: In the event of extraordinary circumstances (accident, serious illness, natural disaster, etc.), either party may end lessons immediately by written notification. Any session not provided in such cases will not be charged. Any unused sessions in a package may be postponed or transferred to a third party.
6. Personal Data
All data collected are used exclusively for administrative and teaching purposes. In compliance with the GDPR, the student has the right to access, rectify, and delete their data by contacting: taradornier@gmail.com. Data are stored for 2 years following the end of lessons, unless there is a legal requirement or explicit consent from the student for extended retention.
7. Complaints, Disputes, and Jurisdiction
Any complaint regarding the services must be sent in writing to taradornier@gmail.com. A response will be provided within 15 working days.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution. Failing this, the courts with jurisdiction will be those of the teacher’s place of residence.
